I believe in your ability to reach a clear understanding of your issues and your responses to those issues. I believe that you can develop strategies for improving your life and judge the appropriate timing and extent of change necessary for you to progress.
I am there to support, guide and provide sensitive challenge where it seems appropriate.
Of course, I will share ideas, potentially useful information and insights but will not persuade you into any specific course of action.
Overall, I invite you to reflect productively on issues without being judged and while being valued as the person you are right now - regardless of what is going on in your life!
I am a person-centred counsellor who began in the therapy field in 1999. Since then I have worked in a number of different organisations and in private practice. I have supported people working on many issues; anxiety, relationship breakdown, sexual abuse in childhood, chronic illness, grief and loss, sexual identity and job and career difficulties.
I am an accredited counsellor with BACP ( British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and follow their code of ethics.
